It’s rare to find a strict constitutionalist with a real chance to win an election. Clint Didier, running for Congress in Washington’s 4th district, is just such a candidate.
After an in-depth interview with Clint, I was very impressed by his full knowledge and firm commitment to our philosophy. I’m very confident his voting record will align with Rep. Justin Amash, Rep. Thomas Massie, and retired congressman Ron Paul. Clint will NOT sell out.
In fact, Clint’s campaign is endorsed by Dr. Ron Paul as well.
So today, YAL‘s LibertyAction.com PAC announces its proud endorsement of Clint Didier and strongly encourages you to direct your contributions to his campaign. His primary is — less than two weeks away — so please support him right now!
100% of your donation through LibertyAction.com will go to the “Clint Didier for Congress” campaign.
Simply put, if it’s not strictly authorized by the Constitution, Clint won’t vote for it. Here’s an overview of his positions:
- Supports a full audit of the Federal Reserve
- Supports a balanced budget amendment
- Opposes all efforts to increase taxes
- Opposes nation-building
- Supports ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
- Opposes unconstitutional government spying, the PATRIOT Act, and indefinite detention authorized by the NDAA
- Opposes restrictions on internet freedom
- Supports the repeal of Obamacare
- Supports the 2nd Amendment
Now, he just needs the momentum to push him across the finish line in the primary against the establishment Republicans who want nothing to do with true constitutional principles.
Believe it or not, Clint had a successful career as a professional football player, playing for the Washington Redskins and the Green Bay Packers and winning two Super Bowls — but don’t let that turn you off if you’re a Cowboys or Vikings fan!
Following his football career, he moved back home to Washington with his wife and four kids to farm and run his small business. He wasn’t interested in starting another career, and certainly not one in politics. But the 2008 election convinced Clint it was time to get involved and fight back against the big-spending Democrats AND Republicans.
Since 2008, Clint has been actively involved, running for U.S. Senate in 2010. He also carried every county in central Washington, with 60 percent-plus margins in the major counties, in another run for public office in Washington’s 4th district.
Clint is truly a remarkable person. Combining principle with viability is the exact type of candidate you and I must rally behind.
I hope you will join me in sending Clint Didier and the next class of Ron Pauls to Washington — please view and donate to all of our endorsed candidates here:
